Overview of the Role:

The Business Development Associate is an entry level position whose key areas of responsibilities are as follows:

  • Telephone and electronic outreach (cold calling) to prospects and potential clients
  • Identifying new contacts to add to Leaderboard’s customer / potential customer database
  • Maintenance and upkeep of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools
  • Contribute to the creation of proposals and statements of work
  • Support Leaderboard client teams on project related tasks and deliverables
  • Support Senior Executive team on new business activities including project scoping and pricing

Ideal Candidate:

  • Comfortable with all forms of prospective outreach (telephone cold calling, email and LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Enjoys working within a growing organization which we describe as exciting, fast paced and team
  • Strong presentation skills (written and communications)
  • Self-starter and accountable
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Innovative and inquisitive to learn new things and explore new products/ideas

Requested Background and Experience:

  • 2+ years of professional experience required. Branding / Advertising experience a big plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Well versed in the Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM tools a plus, but not required
  • Online and in-person presentation skills a plus, but not required
  • Role is a full-time position based in our global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Remote/flexible candidates will not be considered for this role.

Overview of the Role:

The Digital Marketing Manager is a marketing expert, specializing in digital marketing tactics that are influential and measurable. This person will pioneer a new channel for Leaderboard – driving business development through marketing activities. Objectives for this role focus around driving brand awareness, consideration and generating leads for new business. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Outline strategies for generating leads and growing social followership
  • Drive business growth through connecting marketing content with influencers and decision makers
  • Develop and manage automated marketing communications including event-triggered communications
  • Manage Leaderboard Branding website and social media outlets
  • Plan, develop and execute integrated marketing plans
  • Track results of efforts and directing further investment based on data insight
  • Manage agency relationships required to execute on marketing strategies

Ideal Candidate:

  • Digital exert in SEM and SEO, email marketing, social media marketing, and insight tracking
  • Marketing performance optimizer, experienced in testing, learning, adjust and pacing marketing investment to maximize outcomes
  • Creative thinker who wants to develop campaigns we can be proud of
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a competitive spirit
  • Enjoys working within a growing organization which we describe as engaging, fast-paced and team first
  • Self-starter and accountable – equally happy and engaged working individually or as part of a team

Requested Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preference towards Marketing, Communications, IT or other relevant fields
  • 4+ years of professional marketing experience required with proven skills in digital content planning, development, deployment and measuring.
  • Deep understanding of online marketing, online lead generation, and conversion strategies
  • Data analytics experience that drives further investment strategies
  • Knowledge and capabilities in digital technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, cookies, etc.
  • Experience in SEO, Google analytics, Facebook insights, keyword search, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to build budgets, optimize spend and measure ROI
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and team-oriented mentality

A Naming Specialist crafts, evaluates and presents names, tag lines and other verbal identity elements for project teams to consider and eventually utilize for their brand. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create name candidates for products and services across industries, including consumer, technology and healthcare
  • Present name candidates and collaborate with project teams in conference calls and in-person meetings
  • Perform online searches to evaluate the ability of a name candidate to be used/trademarked
  • Create PPT presentations and other briefs to showcase name candidates and capture feedback from project teams

Ideal Candidate:

  • Creative, clever, imaginative, thoughtful, especially in manipulating words/language to best convey or capture an idea
  • Has a natural curiosity, enjoys learning new things and developing new talents
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Dedicated to details and meeting deadlines
  • Enjoys working within a growing organization which we describe as engaging, fast-paced and team first
  • Self-starter and accountable – equally happy and engaged working individually or in a team

Requested Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Though not required, previous successful candidates have had experience in education, communications, linguistics, and creative writing
